Valentine’s Day: A day that celebrates romantic love and the couples who enjoy it.
But that’s not for everyone.
Some people prefer to spend time with a group of friends or even by themselves, but they still want to celebrate.
For those people, here are three alternatives to Valentine’s Day that will get you celebrating in or near your new Atlantic Builders home.
Galentine’s Day was created in season 2, episode 16 of the hit TV show Parks & Recreation. It’s a new-ish holiday that takes place on February 13, where boyfriends and husbands stay at home and all the gals get together to enjoy a day of celebrating with friends. Brunch is key to Galentine’s Day, as are gifts and affirmations to make everyone feel special.
If you lived in a new Atlantic Builders home in Springhaven in Fredericksburg, celebrating Galentine’s Day would be easy! With so many delicious restaurants minutes away, the choices for your brunch-stravaganza are almost endless. You could head to the Cinnabon at Spotsylvania Town Centre for a calorie-filled brunch and then walk some of those calories off as you enjoy retail therapy together. Or, if you want a sit-down brunch, we recommend the all-day breakfast at the Mason Dixon Café. Nothing beats a massive stack of buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and cardamom honey butter.

Building off the success of Galentine’s Day, Palentine’s Day extends the holiday to your entire friend group.
