EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE

our-story

Our Story

Atlantic Builders is an award-winning, privately owned regional builder that has delivered thousands of brand new homes in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area for over a quarter century and is now building in the Charlottesville region as well. We have a simple philosophy: build the best homes possible and create extraordinary relationships. We do that through our passion, dependability and dedication to excellence.

Atlantic Builders is committed to consciously embracing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that is an extension of our core values: Delight Customers, Passionately Learn and Grow, Respect All Opinions, Act with Urgency, Give Back, Have Fun and Celebrate and Do it Right the First Time.

Being Local Means Everything to Us

We are truly a local builder. Our team not only works in the Fredericksburg and Charlottesville areas, but we live and play there too. We build in some of the region's most desirable locations, and we've built strong relationships with the local trades and other business experts over the years that allow us to put more value and quality craftsmanship in every home we build....

Another of the secrets to our success is that we have made the home buying process fun and easy. From choosing your home site, to personalizing your brand new home at our design studio, through every step of the construction process, we are by your side. And that dedication doesn't end once you take ownership of your brand new home. Our top-ranked warranty service team meets with you twice during the first year of living in your home to make sure everything is meeting your satisfaction. We are so dedicated to giving you the very best quality that we have put our commitment in writing with a 2/10 Warranty, which covers certain materials and workmanship for up to two years and the structure for up to 10 years.

Our passion for quality and excellence is reflected in our consistent ranking in the Top 10% of Builders Nationally as surveyed by Eliant, a homebuilder surveying company, as well as our receiving the National Association of Homebuilders National Housing Quality Award, one of the highest and most prestigious awards in homebuilding.
